Thailand – Prostitution Or Solution

Sorry, didn’t see you there. Just been dragging this out of the Soul Hole. As you’re here you might as well read it. Don’t say I didn’t warn you though.

She breezed into the bar, swagger, lipstick, hips. I heard the painful click of rheumatic bits and a check through leather for dime. Coughed cattarh echoed around the bar and the shuffling of legs and loins. The small stood tall and the old got bold for the new Pattaya toy. She knew what she was doing and cooing rhymes with screwing not bad for a farmers girl.

Many call it prostitution some say it’s Hollywood, Thai style, but is the long legged looker a hooker or just trying to feed the need to read and write, stop what’s wrong, and put right her life…. Maybe you are sat there in your big posh home with your state of the art mobile phone, you’re gonna reach out for a smoke and a snort of coke, while waiting for the pizza boy, well read on.

The beautiful young Thai girl couldn’t stand the searing heat and stifling humidity anymore she had to get downstairs and away from the intense temperature rising and blanketing the room. She would try and catch the mouse later, much later, when the scorching sun had long gone. She just hoped she could catch it before a snake caught its evening scent and came hunting in the middle of the night.

I only heard it once but it was enough, maybe once to often, sat there with mates and edge of the circle friends. I didn’t know him to well but I’ll never forget the mouth movements, kinda like slow motion and the voice distant and distorted. He told us that he had finished with his Thai girlfriend, he lived in England she in her homeland, she was messing around, couldn’t trust her anymore, they were all the same Thai women, couldn’t be faithful. He finished his drink, said his goodbyes and left to meet his wife.

She broke into a smile, a glistening almost angelic smile, four tiny fish, five hungry people, sticky rice and vegetables, it was the Thai way, you had to smile through the pain…..He couldn’t believe it, sixty dollars and she was led on her back checking her mascara, hadn’t made a noise, sixty dollars and that was only agreed with a mouthful of abuse, the sooner he finished the quicker he’d get the bitch out of his truck, dammit he hated Miami.

She said goodbye to her mama and son, a short goodbye, that’s the Thai way. She didn’t look back she just kept walking, she had to catch the bus to Pattaya, she needed work to feed her family and school her child, a long lonely walk but she walked with a smile…….She screamed at him, speckled with the smell of stale cigarettes, he was taking to long, hurry up, you’ve drunk to much, you’ll have to pay forty dollars more, I don’t have to do this with a loser like you, I could have been a lawyer.

I’d only known her one hour but it seemed much longer, she kept smiling, smiling all the time. We were looking at the photos she’d got from her room, pictures of her mama and son, I couldn’t believe what she had agreed for sixteen lousy dollars, you know, to sleep with me.…. She was a big, big girl and she spat at him, yeah you got it the fat spat at him. Sixty dollars for half an hour and she spat at him, wanted more showed her the door and the fat spat at him….No silicon bits inside my bed, think I’ll go overboard, there’s sixteen dollars outside my bed, not bad for a farmers girl.
