Dirty Dancing

Thailand is currently dancing on a political hotbed with deep heat plasters and thermal socks on her feet. This week news programs worldwide reported two deaths and 300 plus injuries that resulted from the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD)protests against Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat in Bangkok. The PAD accusations against the prime minister and his People Power Party (PPP) will now surely fall upon death ears as PAD supporters resort to thuggery and complete contempt of law and order. One can only hope that the PAD leaders withdraw their thugs from the political arena and let the coalition PPP led government attempt to implement their policies that the Thai people elected them to do. At this present time Thailand is a thousand miles from the Land of Smiles, that saddens me deeply. Goodnight from a thoughtful Hoo Don.

    Hi Hoo Don,

At first I thought I’d found the wrong site. But impressive writing and lots of info. But where are the pictures. As they say a Picture says a thousand words. Found the site by just typing in thaisabai.org no problem at all. Can you send me your e-mail address.

    Cheers Bob

The PAD wants the PPP out but now the UDD supports the PPP and the old TRT. So if the NCD comes back the UDD will fight them on the streets to support the PPP. The UDD wants the PPP to change the law to put back the TRT. If the PPP put back TRT it will be a big fight in the country for sure.

    Nice blog btw :)
