Talen the Thai's fascination with ghosts is unbelievable but it is definitely a part of their Buddhist believe in rebirth. The thought of ghosts here in the UK kind of 'spooks' me a bit but for some reason meeting a Thai one doesn't worry me in the slightest. I might change my mind on that if one does one day appear.

Catherine I felt a lot better on my flight home but now having hit the bitter UK weather I'm feeling a bit rough again. Three days off now so I should pick up from here. Thanks.

Martyn, great read and a perfect slice of Thai life. I love the fascination the Thai's have with ghosts and dreams...that is to say as long as they don't involve me. I have had several discussions about ghosts visiting the family farm and certain dreams that involved me...it always ends with a trip to the temple to get blessed just in case.

Martyn, I really liked the breezy, natural writing of this post. You had me right there, with you.

Sorry to hear about you being ill. Especially on your holiday (and I so know the feeling).
